Soy artista e investigadora. Mi interés ha sido explorar diferentes realidades, contextos sociopolíticos y culturales desde una posición comprometida. Mi interés, pretende contar las historias de aquellos que han sido borrados o invisibilizados en las narrativas oficiales. Esto me ha llevado a producir trabajos mixtos en los que combino arte, investigación, didáctica colectiva y trabajo social con lenguajes visuales, performativos y sonoros. Los temas que he investigado han sido la violencia producida por los estados opresores, la migración, el sistema capitalista, los conflictos bélicos y el pasado-presente colonial.
Mi investigación se ha centrado en las violaciones de los derechos humanos durante la dictadura militar chilena. Sobre este tema he realizado investigaciones y trabajos artísticos sobre los ex presos políticos, sobre los familiares de detenidos desaparecidos en Chile y sobre los grupos clandestinos de resistencia al régimen dictatorial. He investigado y producido diferentes tipos de obras de arte sobre, el conflicto entre Rusia y Georgia por Osetia del Sur a través de las historias de los refugiados que dejó la guerra, las difíciles condiciones de vida de los trabajadores inmigrantes en Singapur, la desconocida y negada violencia colonial en Alemania y la violencia patriarcal contra las mujeres en Alemania. Todas estas experiencias me han permitido conocer diferentes formas de opresión como el racismo, la violencia de género y las desigualdades, entre otras.

I’m an artist and researcher. My interest has been to explore different realities, socio-political and cultural contexts from a committed position. My interest, aims to tell the stories of those who have been erased or made invisible in official narratives. This has led me to produce mixed works in which I combine art, research, collective didactics and social work with visual, performance, and sound languages. The topics that I have investigated have been the violence produced by oppressive states, migration, the capitalist system, war conflicts and the colonial past-present.
My research has been on human rights violations during the Chilean military dictatorship. On this subject I have done research and artwork on former political prisoners, on relatives of disappeared detainees in Chile and on the clandestine groups of resistance to the dictatorial regime. I have researched and produced different kinds of artworks about, the conflict between Russia and Georgia over South Ossetia through the stories of refugees left by the war, the difficult living conditions of migrant workers in Singapore, the unknown and denied colonial violence in Germany and the patriarchal violence against women in Germany. All these experiences have allowed me to learn about different forms of oppression such as racism, gender violence, inequalities, among others.
